Boomer & Frankie
Boomer, the adult dog, stayed with us for a Great Puppy boarding School program and continued on to do an adult Great Dog Program. Frankie, the puppy, is going on 10 weeks old and is starting his second week of his Great Puppy Boarding School Program. Check out the difference in motor skills and speed between the two dogs. Also notice how much Boomer wants to engage with our trainer and has been trained to stay on his dog bed even with lots of distraction. When doing an engagement session with Boomer you can see him holding positions or soliciting multiple positions in a row before receiving a reward. This is because his conditioning to his markers are so strong we can use the words he learned in puppy training to communicate with him in place of rewarding after each command is performed.
Conditioning the behaviors you want at an early age means you will have a happy, healthy obedient family pet for many years!

**WE HAVE 2 SPOTS LEFT FOR OUR SATURDAY CLASS**
What to expect:
Liz will take the participants through a variety of body weight exercises targeting different muscle groups. An example of an exercise that will incorporate your physical demands and your dog’s mental demands is walking lunges for the human and loose leash walking for the dog or a wall sit for the human and a sit, down or climb for the dog. Different accommodations will be offered for most exercises to accommodate all fitness levels.
*Class will be offered at an introductory rate the first couple times while we get everything moving smoothly.
When: Wednesday 1/26 5:00pm-6:00pm and/or Saturday 1/29 8:00am-9:00am
Where: Lakeshore K9 Training Room (Enter through training entrance and proceed right)
Cost: $15
What to bring: Please bring your dog on leash (training collar is recommended to reinforce training if your dog has completed a training program at Lakeshore K9, treats for your dog, water for the human, and a yoga mat (recommended but not required).
*You can sign up for the class in your Gingr Portal or call/text/e-mail and one of our Client Care Coordinators would be happy to assist. There will be a limited number of spaces so don’t wait to sign up. Kids are welcome to participate as long as they are old enough to reinforce the dogs training.
