Growing up with dogs, Katie developed an interest in animal behavior from a young age and always knew she wanted to work with animals. For the last five years she has been involved in a great volume of shelter work, being a volunteer mentor, coordinating play groups based on dog behavior, working as a member of the behavioral assessment and training team, and helping hundreds of dogs get ready to become perfect home companions a nd enjoy their forever homes for the rest of their lives with their forever families. She is passionate about helping dogs navigate how to be better pets and in 2019 decided to follow her passion and started training full time.
