Lakeshore K9 started in early 2010 as a home-based dog training and boarding business. It was most definitely a family affair with Jordan Aaron, owner of Lakeshore K9, his wife and at the time, their young son all participating in the care for dogs. “Ever since the inception we have been striving to meet the needs of all dog owners.” Jordan’s passion for dog’s started when he was young always having at least one as a member of the family.

Mid 2005 Jordan purchased a dog of his own, Keeli a Weimaraner, and they were quite the duo. Jordan went everywhere and did everything with her. That’s not to say for the first 3.5 years of her life she didn’t bring trouble. In fact, Keeli was quite the naughty little girl and brought plenty of behavioral issues. As much as Jordan enjoyed having her he knew there was more to just owning a dog. He began researching dog training colleges and after the purchase of 2 more puppies to train while at the dog training college he found and 6 months of intense hands-on education, competing in AKC and Schutzhund he is now a certified master dog trainer.

Jordan is trained in all areas of dog training from competitive obedience to narcotics detection and everything inbetween. Jordan’s passion now, is most definitely working with the everyday family pet. For Jordan, helping to better the lives of families struggling with a new puppy or an older rescue dog is what keeps him going every day.
